Time is flying...

It's almost time for spring break already... can't believe how time has been flying by lately! I went for my 24week doctor visit yesterday & everything is going & growing well. It's getting a little scary & more real when they ask you what you want for your delivery plans... he'll be here before we know it! I feel terrible we haven't decided on a name yet.. but we want it to be a good one.

Erik & I decided to have a babymoon vacation.. sort of a celebration of us as a couple before we become a mommy & daddy. I can't wait to parade my belly around on the beach & soak up the sun for several days! I only feel slightly bad that other people will have to witness my huge pale belly in a bathing suit; but hey.. you only live once right?! We decided to explore Oahu, HI ,next week! I can't wait to spend some time on a romantic island with my baby!

I'm hoping we will also get a chance to see our awesome friends that live in Norman & Tulsa; all together again soon. I really miss hanging out with everyone; it was so much fun having everyone over during New Years! I suppose it all depends on the baby & everyone else's plans.. but I think it would be great to have a Big 4th of July Bash! Can't wait for summer & all of the good times to come! ;)

Oh what a night ...

I'm convinced that the majority of kids do not have hearing problems that prevent them from listening to you, or that encourage them to turn up the volume on the stereo to hear their video games better... they are simply determined to make you believe they do; while hoping you will eventually go deaf.

It started at 7:20 this morning & my mind feels like it's in a coma. I now know what the undead feel like. The day has just started & I wake up to.... What's for breakfast? I'm thirsty! It's my turn to play x-box... he died twice!
I thought you could only die once... like when I fell asleep last night after going up & down the stairs a gazillion times, to herd the elephants above our room into bed.

Erik was coughing, with a headache, & fever all last night.
The baby was tossing & turning in my belly all last night & this morning. (a record!)
The best thing about last night.. was sleeping with all of that going on & hardly feeling any muscle pain when moving to get comfortable.
I haven't slept like that since before my belly just starting showing; almost 3.5 months ago.

Today's craving: Pizza & Pickles

Today has been so windy; but I love the warm temperatures just the same.
Tonight we are having a camp out in the living room with my two youngest brothers.
They have been begging to be able to stay over night for awhile now.. so it looks like it will be an afternoon filled with video games, board games, & snacks.
Cooper & Butters both got a bath today & they smell so good; I love it when they are clean & cuddly!
Better get back to hanging out with the boyz before they notice I'm not watching them play their game...

Learning to blog again...

I've decided that I missed blogging. It's nice to have a place to post thoughts & such; that you can call your very own. I don't know that it will turn out all that interesting.. but you never know. Life throws all sorts of interesting & great things at us. The question is: will we notice or even take the time to appreciate those things. I hope to keep updating often & to take the time to notice & appreciate the things that tend to be taken forgranted.

And speaking of appreciating: To my friends ~ You are awesome!
